I have to wonder though.
Was Akzeriuth really meant to be destroyed?
I mean, after all, the fonstones fell and seperated, so technically, even though Kimlasca found the fonstone saying how the Light of the Sacred Flame would destroy the miner’s city, and since the Tower of Rem was in the Qliphoth, they just assumed it was supposed to be Akzeriuth that was the designated city. They didn’t even know about the supposed plague that was going to happen, and just assumed that Luke was going to die.
Which technically means that Luke destroyed an entire city, killed thousands of lives and was mentally wrecked for a failed attempt to appease the score.
